These are all FREE for RCGP members.

 

  • The concept is like attending a lecture but you sit in the comfort of your office or home with your computer. 

  • You have the opportunity to ask questions using an onscreen dialogue box.

  • The webinars consist of approximately 45 minutes of lecture material and then 15 minutes for questions.

All of our webinars are recorded and they are available to watch at any time, 24hrs a day! Just email the faculty office for the password.

General Practice is a culturally and racially diverse speciality which can present certain challenges. In this series of  3 episodes we share patient, staff and organisational experiences of racism, bias and inter-cultural problems as well as some introductory practical tips for overcoming these issues.

March 2020 -  Eating Disorders

Dr Carla Figueiredo is a Consultant Psychiatrist working with the Dorset Healthcare Eating Disorder Service since 2010.  She qualified in medicine in South Africa and undertook her specialist training in General Adult Psychiatry in Wessex.  Carla has been treating both Adult and Young People in an all age Integrated Eating Disorder Service for the past 5 years.  To gain access please visit: Eating Disorders

December 2019 -  Childhood Allergies

Dr Mich Lajeunesse is a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology at Southampton Children’s Hospital, and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton. He is an accredited specialist in Paediatric Immunology, Infectious Diseases and Allergy, a member of the British Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
