Wessex Faculty Education Lead

  • Are you keen to develop your skills further in medical education, facilitation and beyond?

RCGPs’ Wessex Faculty is looking for an enthusiastic GP to curate their local education programme.  As a primary care professional, you will use your grass roots knowledge and local networks to develop a relevant and comprehensive education offer for RCGP Wessex Faculty members.

 

Working as part of RCGP Wessex Faculty’s Executive Board, you will support the development of an annual Faculty plan that aims to engage and support GPs of all career stages across the patch.

 

As the Faculty Education Lead, you will work with RCGP’s national Education Lead network to coordinate your local offer with neighbouring Faculties to ensure efficient and effective use of RCGP and clinical resource, as well as coordination with RCGP’s national CPD programme.  You will also oversee the quality standards of the local education offer, evaluating and demonstrating impact.

 

The role requires an individual with good communication skills, who can innovate in order to deliver education in an ever changing clinical and educational environment. You will have the skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, both within RCGP, as well as external health bodies and private organisations to develop fully enriched and relevant education offer.
